I wondered what became of these guys. I really like the effect of the glaze on the face, but I keep expecting bright colors on the hat and box... Maybe because this figure reminds me of a jack-in-the-box wind-up toy I owned as a child. :-)
Well.....this piece has sat around for over a year waiting for me to decide how I was going to glaze it. I thought of going quite colorful (as you suggest), but I admit to hating to glaze and it's one of those things that frustrate me to no end -- glazing is an entirely different art from building. I finally decided it was time just to "get 'er done".
