Working on a design for my next lino carving. I want something retro 1950s / 1960s science fiction cheap paperback cover-ish.
Normally I rarely sketch ideas for my work - I have come to depend primarily on process to shape the result, but lino is far less forgiving than most mediums.
Well, you're probably not looking for an opinion, but I'd say (from left to right) #2 is the strongest. Definitely retro.
