It DOES have moveable parts -- the small hinged lamps in the front (actually off a halogen ceiling fixture) and the hatch. Not much and really not something I'd thought much about. I DID consider lighting it up, but have had poor luck in having galleries desplay work that needs plugging in (and batteries only last for hours).
Awesome. The finished piece even surpassed my initial enthusiasm.
