....of the past, the kiln arises once more - rebuilt: faster, hotter, more pristine than ever!  Replaced nearly half the ring brick and all elements.  As soon as the engineers finish their inspection, the reaction chamber shall light the darkness with the cherry-red glow of hope, optimism and um....fired clay!
