Those are really cool. I could see hanging a "galaxy" of those. Or maybe a constellation? Maybe it is because of your recent space ships, but my first thought was planets or moons. Seriously cool little Objet d'art.
Oh, you're on the right track here -- yeah...planets, moons, asteroids. Was thinking one of these SORT of looks like Mars....I need to dabble a bit more with the glazes. These are essentially bowls with a curved rim, so they'll hang on a nail -- so simple a shape, yet so many possibilities!
I have not considered working with glass...but as for illumination....stay tuned..I have one in progress (though it's probably weeks away from being finished). What I love about this form is that I haven't even tapped the surface of what can be done.
