....knocked out our electrical service for 5 days and the internet/phone for 10 days. The storm was forecast to drop about 1/4-inch of ice, but ended up dropping around 1.5-inches. Friday (12th) and Saturday (13th), the air echoed with the sharp reports of breaking limbs. Many trees were uprooted. We were lucky in that we sustained no structural damage.
