Hi BG! I don't know quite what to make of your new RAW series... the houses have somewhat of a bleaker and starker aspect than your previous groups. Actually, the houses and their substructures remind me of some type of weird cameras! So, they're strange and a little unsettling. But, strange is good! And, for that matter, unsettling is better than cliché. Bravo! :-)
Dia, the RAW series is about many things -- disconnectedness, the damage of war, the decline of refinement, the tendency for all things to return to a raw state...and more. It's kind of difficult to explain, but I will accept "unsettling". I think, in a sense, they can be seen as cameras in the state of capturing decay. Thank you!
