Oil Paint Monotypes and monoprints.............
....dabbling with a technique I saw on YouTube demonstrated by Dan Tirels. I find the process to be addictive for some odd reason. I'm just using unprimed recycled Bristol for this, but it seems to work well enough.
Spontaneous, I think is most apt. I've always leaned to the rigid, but this process is cool in that it encourages expressive marks and spontaneous decisions. In my ceramics and assemblage, I often pause for months while deciding the next step -- but here....pedal to the metal! Thank you Dia.
