Lino print...
4x6 inches on printing paper using Blick block ink. Carved from a Speedball Speedy-Cut block. This is my first attempt in decades and I had some issues, but enjoyed the process.
Very powerful! I've been thinking of linos lately, too, and I haven't done one in years either. Speedball Speedy Cut sounds like a great product. Anyway, your crow is impressive! You've got the magic touch.
Well now, I guess great minds think alike (but it's also said that fools seldom differ) and lino is permeating the ether. I am not sold on Speedy Cut, but it is easy to carve...I suspect the issue is my lack of skill. I've now done another, but am not happy with the results. Currently trying to carve actual lino, but it's a battle. Part of the problem may be that the blocks I have are roughly 20 years old. We'll see. And YES you should do this!
