I love this bowl! All of your new bowls are amazing... some of the most organic pottery I've ever seen. A few of the previous bowls look like archaeological finds dug up in the vicinity of an ancient volcanic eruption.
Thank you, Dia. I love exploring this form -- the idea of the finished piece returning a sense of the earth it began as. I have more ideas to be explored.
In the photo, this does not even look like clay. it looks like you were pouring a bowl and the mold broke. The poured metal went where it could and this is the result. Or the mold was pulled to soon and the bowl collapsed on itself. All of that to say, love the idea.
