OOOooooooooooOOoooo..........
......Happy Halloween. Bought the resin skull at Big Lots and installed LEDs (from Dollar store LED candles) in the eyes. Built the 'candle' atop the skull from a dowel and hot glue and wired another LED into it. Mounted to a wooden cigar box to hide the battery and switch. Viola!

Soul Box..............


............operational. A box for holding the essential essence of selfness - extracted to digitial information, scanned and tidied up for transmission to the next stage. This piece has 3 separate LED circuits - lights in the 3 vacuum tubes, an ultraviolet LED buried within the mask (visible through the nose and mouth) and the white 'sequencing' LEDs that scan the face, then proceed upwards through the 'confessional' circuit (red LEDs).
Mixed media. Approximate size is 20-inches x 17-inches x 6-inches. Sold at the AIA "Outside the Box" auction.
