...........explorations on 6x6 canvas panels.  This is something I read about over the holidays.  The resemblance to fractal forms fascinated me and I thought it'd be interesting to try. 

There are many, many variations on this theme if you were to search You Tube for videos on the subject.

Decided to do a rework of an older piece -- now it's what I wanted.  Acrylics. 8-inches x 10-inches on wood panel.
