Cape Lookout...........
......is so peculiar in that over the years I've gone there......I have always found works of art on the spit -- works of some unknown artist(s) that seem shamanic in origin. The two above were found Monday when I visited - about a mile or so up the 5-mile spit.
And always rock totems looking to sea......this from several years ago.
Mhm....and this, Raven Totem was the first....back in 2005. I photoshopped the raven in, but all the rest was as found miles down the beach.
A bit of mystery, a bit of magic -- something sorely needed in the world today. Thank you to the unknown artists.
