The week in review.....

Wheel-thrown pumpkins drying.  The largest is about 7-inches high.  I'm still trying for about 12-inches tall, but my throwing skills aren't quite there yet.

Apollo astronaut Crow-Kin in progress

Deep fried bacon wrapped Reeses Peanut-butter cups.  Had to try this once in my life.  Once was enough....trust me.

  1. I just adore those pumpkins, BG. Really special. Can't wait to see everything glazed, although I actually kind of like the greyness of those pumpkins.

    1. Thank you Dia! I have some hopes for glazing -- some of these were thrown with a Raku clay and some with stoneware. Just ordered an orange crackle raku glaze and with the stoneware, I may try some sculptural elements in the glazing...we shall see. I am happy with the form as well -- a new skill learned (though perhaps not entirely useful).
