............., Shrine of.  Final version....thank god.  20-inches x 7-inches x 5-inches roughly.  Metal, ceramic, wood and acrylic. 

William Stafford show.......................

.......opened tonight.  I was honored to receive 2nd place in 2D work.  All the entries were exceptional and I'd recommend seeing the show if you are in the area.

Hanging Out at the..........

Artists In Action storefront this afternoon.  The city donated the downtown space for a month as an on-going effort to promote the arts.   Various members have volunteered to work in the space and show the public what we do.  I created the above mask today.

 Here, we have various painters in decisive, dynamic demonstration.

..............Red, the annual (mostly) AIA-sponsored downtown art show debuted tonight. The juried work certainly lived up to the show and many wonderful pieces are currently hanging in various downtown locations. My pieces are at the Wild Pear Restaurant ("1.Reduction" - honorable place winner in the show) and at the Calusa Gallery (shrine, "Door Beneath Tomorrow").

Also debuting tonight is the Holiday Gallery at the Rountree Gallery Upstairs. My mini-masks are available at the Holiday gallery. I'll be participating in the gallery proper (downstairs) in January.
